Well, the kids were back in school today. I guess it's a good thing that I don't have a job yet because they came back home at 7:45 to tell me the bus hadn't come. I turned up driving the girls and their friend Michael to school. I ran errands pretty much all day to get my mind off of not working, but of course it didn't work. I'm not depressed, exactly, more like resigned. There's really nothing I can do but sit tight and wait. In the meantime, I know I'll be subbing at Bob Jones on September 4th (I'll be subbing for a new teacher in the English department).
Amanda has a new Social Studies teacher, Coach P (ARRRRRGHHHHHH!!!!!!). That was the job that I wanted to interview for. Not that I expected to be interviewed, since the assistant principal had told me they were looking for coaches during the job fair.
Nothing else to report right now. At least I got my corrected certification letter today...hopefully my official licenses will arrive within a few weeks, not that it matters at this point.
